White Day

White day is a day of love on 14th March, boys give that special someone a gift with a white ribbon to show that special someone that they want to be together forever. However love wasn't in the air in the Atlas home.

"Bleergg!"

"Mum, Minoru threw up again!" shouted Victor

"You don't have to keep telling me Victor," Mina said entering her son's room

"Oh, I fell awful," said Minoru clutching his stomach.

"I know honey; it must be food poisoning for your father's cooking." His mother said emptying his sick bucket.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY COOKING?!" Jack shouted

"OBVIOUSLY THAT FISH YOU GAVE HIM YESTERDAY WASN'T COOKED PROPERLY!" Mina shouted back at her husband.

"IT CAN'T HAVE BEEN, I DON'T SEE YOU OR VICTOR PUKING!"

"Bleaaaarg!"

"I look what you did, all your shouting made him worse," Mina said as she wiped some of the sick away from Minoru's mouth.

"But, you were" Jack said before Mina's golden eyes gave a sharp glare at him, Jack knew that he wasn't going to win this battle.

"Just take it easy, Minoru, and rest up and you should be fine tomorrow."

"But… Today is…" Minoru said weakly

"I know but you can't go out, I'm sorry." Mina said sadly knowing how much her son was looking forward to today.

"Maybe we'll see later," said Jack hoping to cheer him up, as he and Mina left the room.

"How unlucky brother," Victor said with a smile, "of all the days to get sick you get sick today. Well see you later."

"Where are you going?"

"To give Yuki this," Victor revealed a large box of chocolates with a big white ribbon on it.

"Victor, you better not or I…"

"You'll what, stumble out of bed and puke on the floor, sorry brother but you lose, Yuki will be mine. Ha Ha Ha!" Victor laughed as he ran out of the room.

"No…" said Minoru weakly knowing he couldn't stop his brother.

Meanwhile at the Lament household, love was in the air.

"Mum! There's a package for you!" Persephone called as the postman handed her a big package

"A package? I wasn't expecting anything unless," Electra said as she quickly took it of her daughter.

"Be careful, it said it's fragile" Persephone said

"I know sweetie," her mother said excited as she opened the package, inside was another package with a white ribbon.

"A White Ribbon! But who?" Persephone was curious.

"It's from Nigel," she said looking at the card,

"So what is it?"

"A book"

"A book?"

"Actually something I've been looking for ages, I can't believe he found it."

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Persephone answered the door, to see Yuki and Misty standing there.

"Are you ready?" asked Yuki

"Just let me grab my coat and bag!" Persephone said as she quickly grabbed her things.

The three girls said goodbye to Electra and headed towards town.

"Your mum looked happy," said Misty

"Yeah she just got a white day gift," said Persephone

"She's lucky, have you gotten anything yet?" Misty asked

"No, what about you two?"

"Nothing,"

"Same here,"

As the girls continued to head towards the heart of Neo Domino City, they passed through the park. Inside the park, Victor had encounter Gabriel.
"I still don't know about this," Gabriel said nervously

"It's simple you pretend to be a mugger and try to rob the girls, then I arrive, drive you off, Yuki is especially impressed, I give her the gift and she's mine forever." Victor explained

"And you still haven't told me why I should to this?" Gabriel said

"Oh Yeah, if you help me, I'll give you this," Victor took a card out of his pocket and showed it to Gabriel.

"Whitewash! You have Whitewash!" Gabriel looked at the card excited

"Yes, One of the powerful Whitewing trap cards and if you help me, I'll let you have it." Victor said before putting it back in his pocket.

"Okay, I'll do it." Gabriel said, really wanting that card, as he put on a mask and Victor handed him a fake gun.

Meanwhile the girls were continuing through the park. When suddenly Gabriel jumped out from behind one of the trees and pointed the gun at them.

"Alright girlies give me all your money and cards." He said in a bad macho sounding voice.

The girls screamed wondering what they should do. Victor watched from behind a tree.

"Excellent, everything is going well,"  he thought to himself, " now to save Yuki and Ah No!"

Victor noticed someone rushing towards the girls.

"What… What do we do?" Yuki asked the others.

"Just give me the stuff and Ah crap!" said Gabriel losing his macho voice when Lex jumped in front of the girls.

"Lex!" Persephone shouted delighted

"Be careful he's got a gun," said Misty

"Thanks for the heads-up", Lex said has he quickly kicked Gabriel in the jaw

"Aggh," Gabriel screamed,   "This wasn't part of the plan, Lex is the best fighter in the school, Maybe if I point the gun at him, it might scare him." Gabriel thought to himself as he pointed the gun at Lex.

Lex quickly kicked the gun out of Gabriel's hand. Gabriel screamed again. Victor looked in horror as his plan was going down the tubes.

"At least it can't get any worst for Gabriel" Victor thought, of course he was wrong

"You coward, you dare attack defenceless women." Lex said angrily at Gabriel.
Gabriel tried to fight back but he was easily outmatched. It then went from bad to worst.

"Spirit that dwells inside me, I summon you! Come froth Servant of Sol!" Lex proclaimed summoning his Ka spirit.

"S**t!" said Victor as he watched Lex's Ka spirit attack Gabriel. Gabriel quickly ran off crying.

"Are you girls okay," Lex said to the three girls

"Yeah, we are, thank you" Yuki said relieved

"Thank you so much," Persephone said has she gave Lex a big kiss.

"Oh that reminds me," said Lex as he searched his pockets and removed a small box with a white ribbon, "this is for you"

Persephone opened the box which revealed a small gold ring.

"It's beautiful," she said as she placed it on her small finger.

The other girls quickly rushed to look at the ring. As the girls continued their walk towards the centre of Neo Domino and Lex parted company with them telling Persephone he will meet her later, Gabriel met up with Victor.

"Why didn't you help?" Gabriel shouted at Victor angrily.

"Hey, I didn't know Lex was going to appear and kick the snot out of you," Victor snapped back.

"I'm luck nothing's broken, now give me the card," said Gabriel.

"What?! You didn't help me," said Victor, "all you did was get your butt handed to you by Lex."

"Fine, I'll go tell everyone that you bet me up."

"Fine," Victor said giving Gabriel Whitewash, "Now I have another plan."

"Forget it, I'm going to meet Sharon, luckily her gift wasn't ruined in the fight." Gabriel said as he turned and walked away.

"Fine, I'll do it myself," Victor shouted to Gabriel, but Gabriel ignored him.

Victor quickly ran and climbed a tree, which was above the path the girls were taking.

"Okay wait until the girls are beneath and then sneak the gift into Yuki's bag, when she looks inside her bag, she will see the gift with my name on it. Then she will be mine."

"You are so lucky," Yuki said to Persephone

"What do you mean?"

"Come on you are the only one of us that got a gift,"
"You might still get one, the day has just begun"

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" The girls heard a large scream.

"Did that sound like Megumi?" Misty asked

"I think it is, hey look" Yuki said as she saw Megumi running

"Megumi what's wrong?" asked Persephone

"Those two," she pointed as she tried to catch her breath. The girls saw Tomoya and Hirutani running after her with gifts,

"You have to help me," Megumi said desperate

"You keep going, we'll get rid of them," said Persephone

As Megumi ran off home, the two bullies encountered the girls.

"Hey where did Megumi? Speak up or you will get a knuckle sandwich."  Hirutani threatened the girls.

"She ran past say those losers would never find her at the Mako Mall," said Persephone.

"Ah man that's on the other side of town, we better hurry." Said Tomoya as the two rushed to find a bus.

"What morons," said Misty

The girls continued on their way and soon they were walking under the tree where Victor was hiding.

"Okay, now's my chance," Victor said to himself, however as he leaned forward the branch he was on broke.

"OUCH!" Victor screamed as he crashed onto the ground, narrowly missing the girls.

"Victor, are you okay?" Yuki said

"Yeah, I think so," said Victor, as he quickly searched for his gift.

"Hey Misty, what's that on your bag?" Persephone asked, noticing something on Misty's bag

"It's a white day gift," said Misty confused at first but then excited, "Hey these are my favourite chocolates, but there's no card."

"Looks like someone has a secret admirer," said Yuki as Victor looked on in horror, Yuki then looked at Victor, "are you sure you are okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"By the way, where's Minoru? I haven't seen him around"

"Oh he's at home, Dad give him food poisoning." Victor said happy in the fact that his brother wasn't here.

"Oh, I might visit him later," Yuki said as the girls eventually headed off.

Later that day, Yuki decided to see Minoru.

"Hi Minoru, how are you feeling?"

"A bit better, what are you doing here?"

"I came to see you, Victor told me what happened."

"Oh no, she met Victor" Minoru taught to himself worried that his chance to be Yuki was gone.

"So did you get a white day gift?" he asked worried that the answer would be 'Yes, I got one from your brother, it was so great we are going to elope'

"No I didn't, Persephone got a gold ring off Lex and Misty got a big box of her favourite chocolates from a secret admirer." Yuki said a bit jealous

"Strange, the box of chocolates sounds like the same box Victor was going to give to Yuki " Minoru taught with a smile, "Oh I just, just remembered could you get me something, it's a small box in my closet behind my school bag."

"Okay," Yuki said as she looked around and saw a small box with a white ribbon on it.

"Happy White Day!" Minoru said

"You mean this is mine?!" Yuki asked, Minoru nodded.

She quickly opened the box to reveal a bracelet.

"It's beautiful!" she said quickly putting it on.

The two lovers then kissed.
